Polarized Sunglasses

Every frame GRIPZ makes is polarized and rated UV400. That is the whole range, not a premium tier within it.

What polarization does. Light that bounces off a flat surface — wet asphalt, a car bonnet, water, glass — comes back organised into one orientation. That organised light is what you experience as glare. A polarized filter blocks it while letting the rest through, so the glare drops out and the scene stays bright. It is the difference between dimming a view and actually seeing into it.

What UV400 does. This is the part that protects your eyes rather than your comfort. UV400 blocks the full UVA and UVB range up to 400 nanometres. It matters more than lens darkness — a dark lens without UV protection is worse than no sunglasses, because it opens your pupil and lets more UV through.

Both together make a real difference on an Egyptian summer day: less squinting on the drive, less eye strain by evening, and protection that does not depend on how dark the tint happens to be.

Choose by shape rather than by lens spec, since the protection is the same across the range — rimless, cat-eye, aviator and navigator, round and oval, square and rectangular, or statement and oversized.
